We have our own fleet of delivery vehicles and distributes our products in the Southern Cape, Little Karoo, Greater Karoo, Langkloof, Tzitsikamma and Eastern Cape.

African Swine Fever (ASF)

On 7 February 2024 it was confirmed that there was a new outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF) in pigs of small farmerson the outskirts of Groeneweide Park, George. Previously there had been similar outbreaks in KwaNonqaba (Mossel bay) in 2022 and 2023 which were both resolved.

  • We are not situated close to or connected in any way with the affected herds.
  • We have very strict biosecurity measures in place to protect livestock from the disease.
  • We breed and raise our own pigs and never buy livestock from other farmers.
  • None of our pigs have shown signs of ASF symptoms.
  • ASF virus is specific to pigs and do not affect humans or other species of animals.
  • All our pigs are slaughtered at independent abattoirs where meat inspections are done.
  • Pork products are safe for human consumption.
